FriendFeed released new beta, as you can see above, the interface looks similar to Twitter. Check out the new version of FriendFeed at http://beta.friendfeed.com.

The most important update of this version should be the real-time update feature. You can see your friend’s update right away at the top of your feed, no need to refresh the page.

FriendFeed supports Direct Message in the new version, you will be able to send message to your friends directly on FriendFeed. And the new Direct Message will support auto-complete function, which can display user names while you are type in the user name box, just like doing the searching on Google.

A lot of these Twitter copycats may just be good for SEO, if they are run right.
