Get a Free .TK Domain for Your Blog
If you are blogging on blog service provider website, like BlogSpot.com or Blogiii.com, you may have a domain like yourname.blogiii.com. This is not good enough, what do you think if you can have a yourname.tk for free. That’s true, I found this great thing today, and registered for a ZackLive.tk domain for testing, you can try to visit this domain to see how it works.
It’s totally free and easy to apply. Visit Dot.TK, enter your original domain into the input field at the middle of the home page, and click next. In the next screen, Dot.TK will suggest you a domain name, you can change it , if you don’t like this one. You have many domain for choice, because not many people know about .TK domain. I registered two domain, Zack.TK and ZackLive.TK.
Scroll down the window, you will see two choices, Anonymous Free Domain and Registered Free Domain. It’s better to choose Registered Free Domain, so that you can modify your domain later.
You can also register for a paid domain for more DNS control.
And then you will be asked to register a user account, after registration, you got your own .TK domain. You can login your control panel to modity your domain setting.
They offer another great function called TK Mail, where you can set up a forward email address with your own domain, for me, I have set up a zack@zack.tk email, all mails sent to this address will be forward to my Gmail.
