One week, after I come to Twitter.com, I have 34 tweets and one follower, without following any one. Is this a normal case? I feel kinda lonely on Twitter, or I shouldn’t care about whether I have any follower, just tell the world what I am doing, and leave silently.
Without interaction with other members, Twitter is nothing, I guess. How can I get noticed, should I just following a lot of people, and reply their every tweets? This may work, but I don’t think it is a good idea.
Maybe we should put ourselves into followers’ shoes, what kind of tweets will you reply? What kind of tweeters will you follow? The answer seems to be very clear, the one your are interested in. Ok, shall we tweet about what the others are interested? Of course not, the right way may be tweet what you are interested or what you know very well, and sharing the latest news about that with tweeters. You will find people interested the same as you following you after a while. For example, you are a photographer, you can tweet about your new photos, your cameras, and your favorite photos. When you found other photographers tweeting, you can reply them and talk about their photos. You can also search for terms like photo, photographic and photographer to see any colleagues around that you can follow.
Is this a right way to get followers on Twitter.com? Or do you have better idea?
