Zoomy: jQuery Plugin for Photo Zooming

Zoomy is a quick and easy plugin that will zoom into a picture. You only need two copies of one image first the display image and then the zoom image.

Most CMS systems save or create multiple sizes of an image so its easy to set up. Just link the zoom picture on the display picture, and tell the plugin to use that link when zooming. It takes only a little bit of scripting.

Zoomy is simple. Zoomy is easy to implement and customize. There are a few options that allow you to change the appearance and usability of Zoomy. Plug it in, and even the most boring pictures can turn heads.

hebus

Hebus.com is a wallpaper community offering 184209 hight quality images with 111039 membres. This is a French website, the design is cool, kinda similar to my WordPress theme BlacknWhite. Most of images are unique and special. I am not a wallpaper guy, but I stayed on this website for over an hour, just looking at the pretty images. I found so many creative art work and photographs. If you’re an artist or photographer, you will love Hebus.

While visiting Hebus, you may encounter some ad pages, just click “Continuer vers hebus.com” on the right top to skip it.

As a blogger, you may want to use a photo in your post to emphasize your subject. For stock photos, you can buy from iStockPhoto or Fotolia, as low as $1.

If you don’t want to pay for it, there are also some places to find free stock photos. Here I recommend FreePixels, it has over 3,000 photos/images in 37 categories. You may find some useful photos for free there.
