TeamLab: Open Source Platform for Teamwork & Project Management
TeamLab is an open-source platform for business collaboration and project management. It is based on ASP.Net, C# and supports both MySQL and SQLite. It has several features like project management, reports, instant messenger, polls, task management and milestone tracking.
TeamLab is a similar project to Open Atrium.
TeamLab offers online service that you can register a portal on TeamLab website, or you can download the source code to build your own portal. Here is a demo I registered on TeamLab website:
There are three main parts on the page, TM Community, TM Projects and TM Talk. TM Community is focusing on members, including features like Blogs, Forums, Events and so on.
TM Projects is for project management. You can create projects, manage project members, assign tasks and start discussions here.
TM Talk is for instant communication, you can start real-time conversation via web or desktop client with your members.
TeamLab has the most features of a collaboration and project manage I’ve ever seen, one thing I don’t like it is that TeamLab is based on ASP.Net and C#, it will be better if it’s developed on PHP or Python.
